Rapidly expanding Foxtrot looks to provide its customers with a new kind of corner store experience. With a clear vision of what they wanted to do with their new space, located at the corner of Milwaukee and Damen, Foxtrot turned to Morgan Li to make it happen.

Committed to delivering a better kind of convenience, you might not know the name Foxtrot just yet—but you will. This soon-to-be-major player in the convenience space is looking to add 250 locations in the next couple years.
Foxtrot took an interesting path to transforming the C-store culture. Initially, Foxtrot was an app. Founded in 2014 in Chicago, Foxtrot started its life in the delivery business, providing a curated inventory of local products available within an hour. But that was only the beginning.
After opening a successful brick-and-mortar shop in the West Loop, the company began its love affair with retail—moving into the Dallas and D.C. markets and continuing its path to growth.
Whether shoppers are looking for their favorites or need something special, Foxtrot has it. Locally brewed coffee? A selection of wine curated by the company’s sommelier? Grab and go food? Foxtrot has it—along with all the things you’d normally expect.
Foxtrot Turns to Morgan Li for their New Store at Milwaukee & Damen
Project Location: 1576 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago Illinois
Located in Chicago’s Bucktown Neighborhood, Foxtrot’s newest location at Milwaukee and Damen aims to go beyond the convenience you’d expect from your average corner store.
Café in the morning and wine bar at night, shoppers can grab a cup of locally roasted Vigilante coffee to start their day, take a salad from their grab n’ go section for lunch, and then return for the latest selection of beer after a long day at the office. Pair this with food off of a seasonal menu crafted by the company’s executive chef and a pint of ice cream to go, and shoppers can get whatever they need—when they need it.
With a clear picture of what they needed from the space, Foxtrot’s environmental design team knew what they wanted and knew how to get it—the experts at Morgan Li. In need of a wide range of fixtures and displays, Foxtrot contracted Morgan Li for shelving, cash wrap/point of sale stations, and the seating for the entire location, including swiveling bar stools.
